Katherinne is the most recent child to become part of the Amigos de Jesus family. She joined us last spring. 'Katy,' as she is known around the hogar, is five years old and is in 'Kinder' at the Amigos de Jesus school. She is very smart and is especially gifted at learning English. She loves school, as can be seen by her cute responses to questions 6 and 9 below! Katy's big round eyes melt the hearts of all she meets. She's cute and she knows it!

- What do you want to be when you grow up? A doctor and work in 'agro' (what we call the farm area of Amigos) with the animals
- Do you have any siblings at Amigos? Cindy Estefany (they're not actually sisters, but Katy must see them that way!)
- What are you most thankful for? Homework.
- What is your favorite part of Amigos de Jesus? The 'madrinas' (the Honduran caretakers of the kids)
- What do you like to do with the volunteers and madrinas/padrinos? I like to clean the bathroom and color.
